With the clean heating work in the northern region, the attitude of the Ministry of Environmental Protection on coal to gas and clean heating work is consistent, that is, to warm the people over the winter as the first important livelihood event.
Heating difficulties in a few places after the coal-to-gas conversion have recently attracted public attention. This is not a small matter. It's cold in winter in northern China, so people need heating for winter. If there is no heating in winter, it not only directly endangers the health of the masses, but also harms the credibility of the government. According to the introduction of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, local governments and environmental protection departments have adopted measures including on-site monitoring and implementation. It should be said that the government attaches great importance to this matter. Of course, follow-up work needs to be done well. The concern of public opinion also highlights the humanistic concern for the people's livelihood, which is worthy of affirmation.
The author has no intention to deny the importance of people's livelihood, nor to question the importance of public concern. But one of the problems I want to talk about is that coal to gas and clean heating is an important environmental protection work, which is of great significance to alleviate winter haze in the north and even in China as a whole. Looking from this year's situation, compared with last year's smoggy lock city, which is millions of square kilometers, this year's smoggy weather in North China and even the whole country has indeed slowed down considerably. This can not be said to have nothing to do with the conversion of coal to gas.
At present, public opinion pays attention to the coal-to-gas project, and even criticizes the impatience of some local work. This should be conducive to better promoting work and taking into account people's livelihood. However, it should be noted that we should not let such a situation affect our judgment on the general direction of coal to gas and plot heating work. Local governments and relevant departments should promote this work more scientifically, but the general orientation can not be put in place, and can not encounter a little pressure and difficulties, so the work of clean heating has begun to withdraw. If so, the long-term interests of the people will be another more serious damage.
